Making Rounded Stickers h3>
01 The Basis strong>
Stickers usually have a rectangular shape. We can, however, simulate rounded corners by pulling Photoshop’s Rounded Rectangle tool strong> over a basic shape, for example a white surface. The radius of the corners can be defined in the options bar. In newer versions of Photoshop that also goes for all corners separately, on the Properties dialog box.
02 Refining the Basis
In here, the first surface was created in red. Now we can play with this form and a white background. With a logo and a few lines that were drawn in black with Line tool strong>, we are able to quickly create an individual label.

White Outline h3>
01 Inserting the Frame strong>
Often stickers come with white borders, which can be simulated easily. If the main part of the image is finished, just go into Photoshop and Selection> Select All strong> or click Ctrl + A strong>. Then go in the menu Edit> Stroke strong>. Set the width to 20 pixels, set the position on internal and change the color to white. Ctrl + D strong> deselects.
02 Frame by Layer strong>
An alternative would be to use a layer style. If there is already a background layer, click it to double it and thereby use it to transform it into a regular layer. After this go to Layer> Layer Style> Outer Glow strong>. This provides a better result than the contour. Place the blend mode to Normal, Opacity to 100%, color to white, trapping up to 90% and the size to 14 pixels.
