Thread-stitched – What does that mean?
With this method, the printed sheets – after being folded – are being stitched and turned into individual brochures with the help of some bookbinding cords. At the end, those individual brochures are sealed at the spine with a layer of glue. This method is suitable for softcovers as well as hardcovers. Sewn binding books are ideal for frequent use and can be opened flat.
In order to protect the book from dirt, you can also use a matt or glossy Cellophane coating.
