Format

Your input for the final format should always refer to the final finished brochure - i.e., processed (folded or bound), as the case may be.

It would be incorrect to choose a format in flat form, i.e. unfolded brochures (laid flat).

When creating your artwork, please make sure that you allow 1/12 Inch bleed on each side of your brochure that needs trimming. Please also layout your brochure as individual pages.

Pages

The number of pages stated always refers to the closed, that is processed (e.g. folded) and finished brochurein its final form.

Example brochure: 8 pages, no cover:
8.5'' x 11'', 8 pages
Your choice of number of pages: content 8 pages.

Please set up the print file for your brochure as individual pages.

Printing

The printing of brochures is realized in CMYK and Pantone.
Under Screen/ Paper proof you can order a screen proof or a color-binding paper proof of your brochure, certified according to the GRACoL 7 quality standard.

Paper

Brochure are exclusively printed on coated text and coated cover papers, which are refined with a printing varnish. Our wood free offset paper for brochures (suitable for ink/ laser printers), which has a very bright white and fine textured surface.

Processing

You can choose between standard staple binding and loop staple binding which makes it possible to file your brochures in a ring binder.

Please note that the cover flap of a 6-page cover has to be 2 mm narrower.

Refining

Refine and protect your brochure with a matt or glossy spot varnish or - for a paperweight of 80 lb or higher - with a matt or glossy layer of foil (lamination).

Creasing
