Format

The size of the catalogs that you input should always be understood as the final product size - i.e., the processed (folded or bound) size of the catalogs.

It would be incorrect to choose a format in flat form for your catalogs, i.e. unfolded (laid flat).

Please set up the print file for yourcatalogs with a 1/12 Inch bleed on all edges which are to be trimmed, and as individual pages.

Pages

The number of pages stated always refers to the closed, that is processed (e.g. folded) and finished catalog in its final form.

Example catalogs: 8 pages, no cover:
8.5'' x 11'', 8 pages
Your choice of number of pages: content 8 pages.

Please set up the print file for yourcatalogs as individual pages.

Printing

The printing of catalogs is realized in CMYK and Pantone as well as gold and silver.
Under Proof you can order a screen proof or a color-binding paper proof of your catalogs, certified according to the GRACoL 7 quality standard.

Paper

Catalogs are exclusively printed on coated text and coated cover papers, which are refined with a printing varnish.

Processing

Perfect binding is a type of binding where the sheets are collected to form a block and are bound by coating the block\'s spine with a special glue. We use polyurethane glue (PUR).

Refining

Refine and protect your catalog with a matt or glossy spot varnish or - for a paperweight of 80 lb or higher - with a matt or glossy layer of foil (lamination).

Paper

Catalogs are exclusively printed on coated text and coated cover papers, which are refined with a printing varnish.

Creasing

Do you want to have your catalogs creased (recommended for coated cover and board papers)? Here you can select the number of creasing lines you will need.

Please note that even with a creasing line cracking of the spine could still occur.
