Going beyond the usual cover letter and resumé
Job applications become enjoyable when they are allowed to become as creative as the specimen in this collection. A T-shirt has been adorned with the applicant’s details, a periodic table shows the skills in detail, a flyer promotes a designer and a folded poster invites for a tour of discovery. There are many ways for creative designers to surprise the board and claim the position always dreamed of.
These amazing applications and resumés shall serve you as an extensive source of inspiration to find and realize your own idea. It’s easy to see that the styles represented here are as diverse as the skill sets of the designers who created them. We find that every single piece in this collection is absolutely worth a look.
I receive CV from time to time to the Studio. Only last week I pondered what happened to the ‚Graphic‘ Graphic design CV that was all the rage in the 90’s. It’s alive and well if the samples above are anything to go by. Some beautiful examples above well worth a gander.
Deirdre, seems like a lot of people fear that they won´t be accepted with „special“ application. But these ones are outstanding and I can´t imagine that headhunters would dismiss them right away. Maybe because of the qualification but not the design.
