Envelope Ideas #1: Corporate Color

An option to make an envelope attractive is to let it lend itself to large-scale color accents. In this manner, corporate colors could fill the back completely and serve for a basis to display the company name as an eye catcher.

Another options is to have the front side is filled in with a color, wherein the overlapping flap is decorated with the same color. In this way the front color will be displayed when closing the envelope and will be clearly appreciable from the back of the envelope. You’re probably adding a logo, so you do need to make sure that it will rotate well through the bending and twisting involved in closing an envelope.

Envelope Ideas #2: Textures

Another option is to provide the envelope with a texture. Here this option was exploited through a coarse paper texture. You could also use metal, wood and any other surface in a way that best fits the products of the company.

In this example, a seal could appropriately complete the „antique“ paper effect that we want to achieve.

Envelope Ideas #3: Complex Content

You can customize the surface of your envelope. The limits are only defined by your creativity. This may help when the contents of the letter within the envelope are complex. However, if a franking machine will be used to automatically stamp the envelopes, we must be sure to leave a white surface at the appropriate place where the stamp will be glued so that the effect is not diminished by the stamp.
