Transforming printing sheets into envelopes

Security tinted envelopes to protect confidential information
Our envelopes are supplied as standard with a grey numeric imprint. The "sea of numbers", consisting of a combination of numbers and letters, prevents envelopes from being read through and the contents from being visible. The security tint pattern is also referred to in specialist circles as a killing grid and is particularly important for business data, the transmission of PIN numbers or other sensitive content.
Gummed or peel and seal envelopes, what would you prefer
You can choose between gummed and peel and seal envelopes from our range.
- Peel and seal envelopes have an adhesive surface that is protected by a strip. Adhesive envelopes are very suitable for long storage.
- Gummed envelopes do not stick until the adhesive on the flap has been moistened. Gummed envelopes are therefore particularly suitable for use with envelope stuffing machine.

FAQ for product Envelopes
1. What can I understand by the term "number pattern, grey inside printing" in the "Pages" dropdown menu?
Our envelopes have a grey security tint pattern by default which makes it difficult for third parties to see the contents of the envelope. Often the security tint pattern print consists of a combination of numbers and letters.
2. What is the difference between gummed and peel & seal envelopes?
For peel and seal envelopes, the adhesive surface is protected with a cover strip. The adhesive surface is released by removing this strip. Gummed envelopes are only made adhesive by moistening the rubberised surface. The gummed adhesive form is often used in combination with enveloping machines.
3. Which envelopes are suitable for enveloping stuffing machines?
Envelopes with gummed seal are suitable for inserting machines.
4. Which DIN standard is used to create the windows in the envelopes?
The viewing windows in envelopes are designed according to DIN 680. For example, for the C6, C6/C5 and DL with left window, the viewing window is 20 mm from the left edge and 15 mm from the bottom edge and measures 45 × 90 mm.
