Double-sided printing for added design options

Single or double-sided printing is available for the unfolded version, while the folded version allows you to print all four pages. If you choose the 2-sided option for an unfolded DIN A6 card, the front and back will be printed on. These are the available printing options:

Paper selection – from simple to premium

You can choose between different paper types here, and thus optimally adjust your postcards to suit your intended purpose. An inexpensive alternative is our coated art paper, which varies between 170 gsm and 350 gsm. If the postcard needs to be particularly robust, both premium 400 gsm cardboard and 300 gsm chromo board are good solutions. The latter grammage can be used as an invitation card but is also well suited as mailshot. For environmentally friendly customers, print24 uses white recycled paper certified under the Blue Angel label.

In addition to these papers, our wide range also includes premium papers for extra special occasions. Our Chamois, Ribbed, Bright White and Linen premium papers are distinguished by their unusual feel and elegance. We also offer postcards with Luxecore design in DIN A6 format, which, along with the aforementioned effects, also has a coloured core.

Colourful, glossy or matte – get more out of your postcards

If you print your postcards on coated art paper (170, 250 and 350 gsm), you can also select the “Glossy” option, which gives your mailings or invitations a classy look. These paper types and the 350 gsm premium board can also be configured matte, giving your prints a subtly elegant feel. All Luxecore papers are available in blue, red and black. Combined with refinements, you can create amazing postcards for extra special occasions!

Take advantage of all modern printing processes

We use the CMYK process for all papers available for your postcards. You can also select HKS or Pantone, which offer you more than 2,000 special colours. You’re bound to find one perfectly matching your corporate design! Your invitations can get extra luxurious with gold and silver inks, which can be used in combination with the CMYK printing process on coated art paper, premium and chromo board, offset paper or recycled paper.

Create a great impression: Your refinement options

Refinements play a particularly key role for invitations. Spice up your "save the date"-card for an upcoming wedding. Refinements can also add that extra touch to mail circulars. When selecting refinements, please note that these depend on your chosen format and paper.

• Blind embossing: Effectively accentuate individual text components.
• Laminating/Cellophane coating (Glossy/Matte/Linen finish/Soft-touch): Add structure to your postcards.
• Hot foil flat embossing: Create visual and tactile effects to create a lasting impression among your recipients.
• Hot foil relief embossing: Create parts of your postcards as reliefs.
• Relief varnish: Accentuate certain parts of the card by applying this varnish.
• UV varnish: The entire card is covered in a particularly attractive varnish.
• UV spot varnish: Accentuate individual components of your postcards.

Digital or hardcopy previews

To get an initial idea of your postcards, you can choose from a digital preview (screenproof) or hard-copy paper view – both features available for a small surcharge. You can then either cancel or start the order. We create your screenproof instantly with a resolution of 150 dpi, and store it in your customer account, allowing you to look at the preview directly on your screen. Please note here that screenproofs are not true-colour, and the colours of the finished product may differ.

The paperproof option allows you to print the front and/or back, and to receive a true-colour, Fogra-certified preliminary print. On the back is a sticker and a green strip to check for good light. You will also be provided with a screenproof.
