Custom calendars for your clients

Calendars are a very popular gift for Christmas. Especially companies and agencies use them as a token of appreciation for loyal clients. If design and visuals are appealing enough they may provide a beautiful eyecatcher in your client’s office or even in their very homes. The world famous and sought-after Pirelli calendar is a prime example of how effective calendars can be as marketing tool if used in the right way.

In the main navigation of print24.com you find our FreeDesign tab, which brings you directly to the tool. To use FreeDesign you only need a browser with Flash support.

From the FreeDesign product overview you choose calendars and get a small menu. It’s best to choose format (A5 or A4, vertical and horizontal) first as this has some influence on the design. If you are an early bird you can already create calendars for 2012. For late starters we offer the opportunity to choose a starting month later in the year.

For your design you have the choice between loads of ready-to-use templates. For many industries we offer a range of suitable designs. Just follow Design Selection > Business Designs to select your branch. If you need a blank template with months and dates only, “No background – text designs only” is your choice. With a click on the design you like you get a preview, from which you can resume with your layout after your approval.

All calendars come with cover sheet and 12 pages with month and dates. Of course you can also upload complete designs. This would be an option if you have your designs as jpeg image files as FreeDesign does the pre-print file conversion automatically. The files should of course have sufficient size and resolution (300dpi).

For editing your product we provide a number of tools in our toolbox. For a better experience you can easily switch to full-screen mode. The individual calendar sheets can be edited separately to allow custom designs.

If you already have readymade designs without months and dates, you can upload these via the Upload option under New Object in the toolbox. We recommend inserting them as background image as this automatically fits them in the format (with bleed margin).

Once you finished editing you can directly order the designs for print or save them in your account for later editing or printing. For that you simply click the familiar disk symbol and log in or register as new customer. The rest of the order process commences as usual.
